Other News May 2012 : other new projects and books.
-Violin Position 6, 7 & 8 (Position-series)
This will be the seventh and last book in the Position series. With the help of this book the higher positions 6,7 and 8 can be learned. There are hardly newly written, modern books for this purpose, so the book must give new possibilities to be able to play higher positions. The book will contain exercises and performance pieces , these will be new compositions by Nico Dezaire and arrangements of classical themes and traditionals. Release to be expected : december 2012.
-Two is a team (for violin and piano)
De Haske wants to publish a book providing well-known tunes for 2 players (melodic part and piano part) of equal level. In most violin-piano books for beginner violinists, the piano part is often of higher diffilculty as the violin part. However there is a need for material playable for 2 pupils of equal level. Nico is arranging the violin-piano version. The book will contain 20 performance pieces , playable within the first position (fingerings 1, 2 and 3).
